CLINTON: "As Ohio goes, so goes the nation. This nation is coming back and so is this campaign!" We hope so. How many products in this photo are made in America?

MADE EVERYWHERE BUT IN AMERICA
Feel like celebrating after yesterday's political wins in Rhode Island, Texas, and Ohio?
CLINTON: "For everyone who has stumbled and stood right back up and for everyone who works hard and never gives up, this one is for you!"
In this election year, nothing has prepared us for a weakened economy with slower worker productivity and declining dollar.
After jobs, it's gas prices that concern many of us the most. American consumers will be hit hard again when increased manufacturing costs, due to fuel prices, are passed along.
What are the alternatives?
THE ECONOMY DOES NOT RUN ON DUNKIN'
Some economists predict gasoline prices this summer will reach $3.75 a gallon. The cost of driving to work may become the leading economic issue. Gasoline usage is declining with few viable alternatives except to use public transportation. Do you know who owns Dunkin' Donuts? Here's a clue: the parent company is British.
THE WINE CELLAR
Why aren't we celebrating with Champagne from France? Not today. We're drinking Cook's California Champagne - vinted and bottled in Madera since 1859. Price: $8.00 everywhere.
We have recommended this extra dry sparkling wine many times before especially for special occasions. It is a real palate pleaser. It has a mild floral character with notes of apple and pear. Try it!
Although governments topple, special occasions will never cease to exist. It is human nature to want to celebrate births, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and elections. Unless you become a wine grower, you will have to travel to a wine store or supermarket for wine.
If you are serious about celebrations and concerned about the rising price of gasoline, like we are, it may be time to sell the house and move closer to the grocery store.
In case you live in New Jersey and are looking around for a place to retire with affordable housing, you might want to consider living in Ohio. Take it from someone who grew up in Zanesville, Ohio - use the search feature to find recent stories. Type: Zanesville.

MADE IN AMERICA?
Three items in the photograph are made in America. Cook's is made in Madera, California and my lucky hat, purchased this summer, is made in China. One of the champagne glasses is made in America while the Mumm's glass is made in France. How'd you do? Cheers!
